Expressions Dance Theatre is a new and innovative learning environment designed to benefit the community by providing professional level instruction for children to seniors in the art of dance, theatre and stage presentation. Expressions Dance Theatre is committed to nurturing the heart, mind and body of a dancer.

A Place To Grow ...

Expressions Dance Theatre's Dance Company is comprised of several professional level performance groups that provide an invaluable experience and exposure for aspiring dancers. Students, ages five to adult may audition to participate in the Dance Company. In the performance groups, the students receive intense training and individual guidance as they advance to professional level dancers. The performance groups perform at events throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.

Expressions Dance Theatre offers a safe and encouraging learning environment by providing qualified, caring instructors who are serious, dedicated and (most importantly) devoted to their craft. The instructors are professionals who have trained extensively in their art at some of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the United States, including: Alvin Ailey School of Dance, The Dance Theatre of Harlem, Philadelphia School of the Arts, and The Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Expressions Dance Theatre is not a dance school, it is an environment of excellence where each student develops the skill, technique and confidence to grow from student to Dancer.
